To start, let’s see how much of the weekly goals I set I got done.
Week 11:
-Artist Statement Done
-Sketchbook updated. Done with pictures. I only got the writing to do still
-Sketchbook writing started. Nope, my underarms were aching after doing computer work, so I didn’t want to push it
-Photography Editing and digital Done
I used the week to continue writing on my laptop and worked with Lightroom to edit some photographs I took to take over to Photoshop. Finally, I combined the pictures and scans of my canvas works to create collaged digital works.
I thoroughly enjoyed working like that, and I spent ages choosing different layer modes and playing around with placements. I love the textured look of these pieces. It's something I would love to expand and continue to develop further.
Week 12:
-sketchbook writing
-exhibit research and planning
Small list, but I have stuff for my other two modules to do as well, of course, while resting and slowly getting myself back into the studio to see friends and get help packing my studio up for the holidays.
